How Jesus Gave Peace in John 14:25–27

Jesus gives peace to his disciples not as a mood or a circumstance but as a gift tied to his own person and to the Father's sending of the Holy Spirit. The peace he leaves is his own peace, given in a way the world cannot give, and it is meant to steady hearts that would otherwise be troubled and fearful.
