Matthew 24:1–14: Birth Pains, Not the End

Jesus tells his disciples that the temple will certainly fall, and that wars, famines, plagues, persecution, and false prophets are the beginning of birth pains rather than the end itself. The gospel must reach all nations, and those who endure to the end will be saved.
