God of All Comfort in Every Affliction
Paul does not offer comfort as a private feeling but as a supply that moves through suffering toward other people. He names God as the Father of mercies and traces comfort and affliction together through Christ.
God of All Comfort: 2 Corinthians 1:3–7
Paul does not promise that grief will lift quickly. He names God as the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort, who meets his people in real affliction and then sends that same comfort through them to others.
