Christ's Three Appearings in Hebrews 9:24–28

Hebrews 9:24–28 sets Christ's priestly work in a once-and-then pattern: he has entered heaven itself, he offered himself once to put away sin, and he will appear a second time to bring salvation. The passage grounds assurance in what he has done and promised, not in how we feel.
