Luke 2:8–14: Good News for Shepherds First

The angels did not carry their announcement to palaces or councils but to shepherds watching flocks by night. Luke 2:8–14 shows that God's saving action in Christ is good news for ordinary people, and it calls for trust in the child in the feeding trough.
