Seeing the Invisible God in Christ (Colossians 1)
Colossians 1:15–20 does not offer a vision beyond Christ but identifies Christ himself as the image of the invisible God. Seeing God means looking at the crucified and risen Lord in whom God's fullness dwells and through whom all things hold together.
Colossians 1:15–20: Jesus Is Not Less Than God
Colossians 1:15–20 does not shrink God down to a more manageable Jesus. It presents the Son as the visible likeness of the unseen God, the one through whom all things were made, hold together and are reconciled.
