Let the Word of Christ Dwell Richly in You
Paul does not ask for a passing familiarity with the message about Christ but for it to settle in and fill a congregation. When it does, teaching, warning, singing, and ordinary words and deeds all become one grateful response to the Lord.
Colossians 3:16–17: Singing That Teaches
Colossians 3:16–17 puts singing inside the ordinary life of a congregation: believers teaching and admonishing one another, with grace in their hearts toward the Lord. The next verse stretches that same posture over every word and every deed.
Colossians 3:16–17: Whatever You Do in His Name
Colossians 3:16–17 places the word of Christ at the center of a congregation's shared life and then extends that life into every ordinary word and deed. Doing all in the name of Jesus is allegiance, not a formula.
