Ruth 4:13–17: God Acts, Naomi Is Restored

Ruth 4:13–17 credits the resolution of the story to Yahweh, not to human strategy: he enables conception, the women of Bethlehem name the child, and Naomi is publicly declared to have a restorer of life. The son born to a Moabite widow becomes the grandfather of David.
