Isaiah 49:14–16: God Has Not Forgotten You

Feeling forsaken is not the same as being forsaken. Isaiah 49:14–16 lets Zion's complaint stand in the text, then answers it in God's own voice with a commitment stronger than a mother's and a name engraved on his palms.
