Micah 5:2: Bethlehem, the Small Town Chosen

Micah 5:2 locates God's promised ruler in Bethlehem Ephrathah, a place counted small, not in Jerusalem's seats of power. The verse describes a ruler who comes out to God and whose origins reach back to ancient times.
