Luke 24:44–47: Law, Prophets and Psalms Fulfilled

The risen Jesus treats the whole of Israel's Scriptures as a body of writing that finds its necessary fulfillment in him, then opens his disciples' minds to read it rightly. What he names as fulfillment is specific: a suffering, rising Christ and a message of repentance going out to all nations.
