Romans 14:1–12: When Good People Differ
Romans 14:1–12 addresses a church where sincere believers reached different convictions about food and holy days. Paul does not settle the dispute. He tells both sides to stop despising and judging, because God has already accepted them and Christ alone will judge.
Romans 14:5–6 on Holidays and Christian Freedom
Romans 14:5–6 does not command or forbid particular days. It gives freedom to observe or not observe, and it directs both choices toward the Lord rather than toward winning an argument.
