Matthew 22:23–33: Marriage and the Resurrection

Jesus refuses to let the resurrection be reduced to a continuation of earthly family arrangements, and he grounds the resurrection itself in God's own words at the burning bush. The passage affirms a real resurrection while declining to specify what resurrected relationships will look like.
