Psalm 119:105: A Lamp to My Feet, Not a Map

Psalm 119:105 describes God's word as a lamp for the feet and a light for the path: enough light to take the next faithful step, not a map of the whole journey. The psalmist trusts that word even while he is badly afflicted.
