God's correction is not rejection. Hebrews 12:5–11 treats discipline as a mark of belonging to God's family, aimed at holiness and a peaceful harvest of righteousness in those trained by it.

Paul's point in 1 Corinthians 6:19–20 is ownership: the Spirit dwells in the body, and the body was bought at a price. That calls for glorifying God in the body, not for turning the verse into a dieting rule.
