Deuteronomy 6:4–9: Teaching Children God's Word
Deuteronomy 6:4–9 does not give a technique for producing results. It gives a household rhythm: the one God is loved wholeheartedly, his words are carried in the teacher's heart, and children learn them in the ordinary moments of sitting, walking, lying down and rising.
1 Corinthians 10:31: Eat, Drink, Play for God's Glory
Paul's command to do all things for God's glory is set inside a discussion about conscience, so it covers ordinary activities like a pumpkin pie frisbee game and also asks how our choices affect the people watching. It is a command about direction and love, not a promise that every game goes well.
1 Corinthians 12:12–27: One Body, Many Members
In 1 Corinthians 12:12–27, God himself arranges the congregation as one body, and he gives greater honor to the parts that seem weaker. The passage warns the strong against dismissing anyone and calls every member to shared care.
Psalm 78:4–7: Telling God's Deeds to Children
Psalm 78:4–7 makes the telling of God's deeds a covenant charge with a forward aim: that children might know, hope in God, and obey. Children's ministry is remembrance aimed at trust, not a craft plus a moral.
