Matthew 9:36–38: Compassion, Prayer, Workers

Jesus does not see the crowds as a statistic but as people harassed and scattered, and his compassion turns into a call to prayer for workers. Biblical counseling and missions grow from that same seeing, shepherding, and asking the Lord of the harvest to send laborers.
