Psalm 78:1–8: Telling the Next Generation

Psalm 78:1–8 describes the story of God's deeds as a trust held by one generation for the next, and it names telling that story as the ordinary way children come to hope in God. The command rests on a covenant God established, and the psalm warns that hearing alone does not guarantee a loyal heart.
