1 Samuel 1:27–28: Hannah's Prayer Answered

Hannah stands before Eli and says plainly what happened: she prayed for this child, God gave her the request, and so she hands him back to God for his whole life. The passage records one named answer to one named prayer, and treats the giving back as worship.
