Acts 1:8 redirects the apostles from asking about kingdom timing to receiving the Spirit's power for witness in widening circles. Mission trips are biblical when they serve that witness to Christ, not when they replace it.

The risen Jesus gives a single command, make disciples of all nations, and carries it on two supports: his universal authority and his presence to the end of the age. Baptizing and teaching belong inside that command, not beside it.
