Genesis 1:28: Fruitfulness and Birth Control

Genesis 1:28 blesses the first human pair and sends them out to fill the earth, but it speaks to humanity as a whole rather than to each couple's decisions about children. The verse neither commands nor forbids birth control, and it places fruitfulness inside God's blessing.
