Treasure, Money and Worry: Matthew 6:19–34
Jesus binds treasure and heart together, so money is finally a question of worship. The cure for anxious hoarding is not indifference but seeking first God's Kingdom and trusting the Father who already knows our needs.
1 Timothy 6:6–10: Godliness With Contentment
Paul does not deny that godliness brings gain. He redefines gain as godliness joined to contentment, and warns that the desire to be rich is a trap that has pulled some away from the faith.
Where Your Treasure Is: Matthew 6:19–21
Jesus does not merely advise careful budgeting in Matthew 6:19–21. He redirects the whole life toward what cannot decay, because the heart trails whatever we treasure.
