New Heaven and New Earth: God Dwells With Us

Revelation 21:1–4 moves the reader past the lake of fire to a city coming down from God, where the center of the scene is not the scenery but the announcement that God himself now dwells with his people. Because he comes to them, he wipes away every tear and the first things pass away.
