Galatians 3:26–29: All One in Christ
Paul tells the Galatians that faith in Christ, not law-keeping or ethnic standing, makes a person a child of God and an heir of Abraham's promise. Baptism pictures that union with Christ, which levels the status divisions the Galatians were tempted to trust in.
Galatians 3:26–29: One in Christ
Paul does not ground reconciliation in a program but in union with Christ. Because all who are baptized into Christ have put on Christ, the labels that sort the world cannot sort the church.
