Philippians 4:4–9: Rejoice, Pray, and Let Peace Guard

Paul does not command a mood in a vacuum. He calls the church to rejoice because the Lord is at hand, to bring everything to God in prayer with thanksgiving, and to let God's peace guard heart and thoughts as they practice what they have learned.
