Psalm 1:1–6: Wisdom That Takes Root

Psalm 1 answers the search for wisdom with a practice, not a feeling: sustained delight in God's instruction shapes a person's direction, and that direction produces fruit in its season. The psalm does not promise a life without drought, but it does describe a root system the wicked do not have.
