Let the Little Children Come to Me: Matthew 19:13–15

In Matthew 19:13–15 Jesus treats children not as an interruption but as rightful participants in his ministry, commanding that they be allowed to come and forbidding anyone to hinder them. A church that welcomes children is aligning itself with what Jesus himself did, though welcome must always be paired with real safeguarding.
