Ephesians 2:8–9: Saved by Grace, Not Works

Ephesians 2:8–9 locates salvation in God's gift rather than human effort: grace is the source, faith the means of receiving, and boasting is shut out. The verses that follow show good works are not cancelled but prepared by God for his people.
