Habakkuk 1:2–4: When Justice Seems Paralyzed

Habakkuk 1:2–4 gives voice to the complaint that a people who hold God's law can live as though it has no force. The prophet names the delay plainly and brings it to God, who answers in his own time and in a way Habakkuk did not expect.
