John 14:6: Jesus as the Way, Truth, Life

Jesus does not hand Thomas a map to God; he says he is the way. What sets Christianity apart on this text is a person who is himself the access to the Father, and that claim humbles the one who repeats it as much as it confronts the one who hears it.
