In John 14:6 Jesus identifies himself as the unique way to the Father because he reveals God truthfully and gives eternal life through his death and resurrection.

Ephesians 2:8–9 teaches that salvation is God’s undeserved gift, received through faith and never earned by moral or religious performance.

Paul does not tell anxious Christians to pretend trouble is unreal. He calls them to bring every concern to God with thankful prayer, and God promises guarding peace in Christ, not automatic removal of hardship.

Psalm 121 teaches pilgrims to look beyond the hills to the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth, who faithfully guards his people through every stage of their journey.

Psalm 91 celebrates the Most High as the secure refuge of those who trust him, but it does not promise that faithful people will never suffer or die.
